9月19日下午，华美外国语学校美方姊妹学校——查米纳德学院预备学校全球影响力计划负责人 Jack Wilson 博士来我校进行了深度交流与教学指导。

Dr Wilson, the coordinator of the global impact plan and golf coach in the C&A sister school-Chaminade College Preparatory school visited our school for in-depth communication and teaching guidance in the afternoon on 19th September.

金安教育集团董事张格霖先生、华美外国语学校总校长钱源伟教授、华美校办主任李媚女士参加了此次会晤。

Mr. Zhang Gelin, the director of jin’an education group, professor Qian Yuanwei, the principle of China America foreign language school, and Ms. Li mei, the director of C&A foreign language school office attended the meeting.

First, Dr Wilson introduced the history of Chaminade College Preparatory school and its international projects launched in Portugal, Britain, France, Spain, etc.. Chaminade College Preparatory school has developed a wide range of global connection in 18 countries on five continents. C&A is the first China sister school who have deep cooperation with Chaminade.

随后，双方就未来如何开展在中小学部分的合作进行了深入探讨，双方一致认为艺术和体育可以作为重要的合作切入点。

9月20日上午，Wilson 博士对华美外国语学校全体中外籍教职员工进行了查米纳德学校深度介绍与美国课程结构设计培训。

In the morning On 20th September, Dr. Wilson gave a speech to the staff of C&A foreign language school. It covered the history and the course structure of Chaminade College Preparatory school.

查米纳德学院预备学校位于美国密苏里州圣路易斯，获美国教育部授予的蓝丝带荣誉、美国中部诸州独立院校联盟(ISACS) 认证、“2017年美国最好男子高中排名”。

The Chaminade College Preparatory School is located in St. Louis, Missouri, and is awarded the Blue Ribbon Honor by the US Department of Education, the Central American Association of Independent Colleges (ISACS), and Best Men's High School Rankings of year 2017 in the United States.

The staff watched the clip Chaminade College Preparatory school and were amazed by the beautiful campus and the landscape. Also, the clip revealed that the staff and the students in Chaminade College Preparatory school were filled with a sense of pride because of the cultural and historical heritage of the school. A number of successful figures graduated from this school.

在校期间，学校不仅为每个学生提供了解世界的机会，更为他们提供探索世界的机会。各年级的学生每年都有机会参加不同的全球课程和体验式教育课程，定期探索、游览和体验校外的生活。 学校还特别注重学生领袖组织能力的培养。

They are not only academically excellent, but also active in a wide range of social events. This is because the school provides the student with the opportunities to connect to and to explore the world. Students can participate in inter-cultural courses, exploring, visiting and experiencing life outside the school. The school also pays special attention to the leadership development.

查米纳德校训“ESTO VIR(Be a man)”意为“成为世界需要你成为的人”。Wilson 博士说：“我们不光要教会学生书本知识，更要教会他们如何与世界相处及生存之道”。查米纳德的教学理念与华美外国语学校总校长钱教授所提出的教育和教学理念高度一致。

The school's motto-"Be a man," means "to Be the person the world needs you to be." "We need to teach students academically. But it’s more important to teach them how to get along with the world and thrive" says Dr Wilson. The education philosophies are highly consistent with each other between the two schools.

Wilson 博士随后就查米纳德的课程设计与设置、课表科学化设计与实施、开设的AP、ACC课程、学校艺体课程设计与特色、学校心理辅导等内容与华美教职员工进行了愉快且细致的分享。

Dr Wilson then Shared with C&A foreign language school the curriculum design, course schedules, the core feathers of the AP, ACC, arts, PE courses and the psychological counseling.

华美各学科教师利用这次宝贵的交流机会与 Wilson 博士积极互动，主要就艺术、体育课程及学生活动方面展开了深度讨论。

Our staff were actively involved and had discussions of the arts and PE courses as well as the after-school activities for students.

接下来，华美六年级的学生有幸体验了一次 Wilson 博士的高尔夫启蒙课程。

Year 6 pupils of C&A foreign language school were given a chance to take Dr. Wilson's introductory golf course.

Wilson 博士从高尔夫运动的特性及如何正确握杆等方面进行了细致的讲解与示范，看着孩子们认真、兴奋且积极的练习，Wilson博士建议学校加快开设高尔夫课程的进程。

Dr Wilson explained and demonstrated how to grip the club correctly. He suggested that the school should speed up the process of setting up the golf course.

工作午餐后，热情的华美中外籍英语教师与 Wilson 博士又深入探讨了查米纳德的教育、教学体系与模式，以及未来在英语教育方面可以与查米纳德开展的合作及模式。

After the work lunch, Dr. Wilson and the Chinese and foreign English teachers of C&A foreign language school had further discussion of the education, teaching system and practice of Chaminade College Preparatory school. They also discussed the prospect of the future cooperation in terms of English education.

Wilson 博士的此次到访不仅增进了华美与查米纳德两校的友谊，更为进一步加强双方全方位的合作打下坚实基础。

Dr Wilson's visit not only strengthened the friendship between C&A foreign language school and Chaminade College Preparatory school, but also laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between the two schools.
