新冠病毒變種令各地的疫情風險出現變數，加上目前內地與香港的關口仍未恢復正常通關，令以往即日往返香港學校與內地住所的跨境生，只能長期以網課替代面授課，部分學生索性退學，轉到內地學校暫讀。有見及此，明愛屯門馬登基金中學（下稱「屯馬」）與深圳華美外國語學校（下稱「華美」）合作，擬在2022/23學年起以聯校實體課加網課形式，開辦香港中學文憑試（DSE）課程，內地及香港的課時各佔一半，構思是港籍學生在中四到中五上學期在華美上面授課，屯馬則負責網課；中五下學期起，學生每日從華美乘搭「點對點」校巴抵達屯馬，上課後即日返回深圳；一旦疫情觸發熔斷機制，學生仍可在華美繼續上課，不影響學習進度。

Ming Tuen Mun Madeng Foundation Middle School (hereinafter referred to as "Tuen Ma"), in cooperation with Shenzhen Huamei Foreign Language School (hereinafter referred to as "Huamei"), plans to start the Hong Kong Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (DSE) course from the 2022/23 school year in the form of joint physical courses and online courses.

　　為加強兩地學校的合作與交流，明愛屯門馬登基金中學今年與深圳華美外國語學校締結為姊妹學校。今個學年開始，華美開辦了小一至中三的香港課程體系班。為了讓該課程銜接至DSE考試，華美及屯馬在今年11月簽訂「姊妹學校共同培優」計劃，有望在2022/23學年起開辦中四級DSE課程班，初步預計一班25人。

In order to strengthen the cooperation and exchanges between schools in the two places, Caritas Tuen Mun Madeng Foundation Middle School and Shenzhen Huamei Foreign Language School have been established as sister schools this year.

作為「香港課程班課程義務顧問」的袁國明，本身是屯門馬登基金中學校長，他近日在接受香港文匯報專訪時表示，新計劃是「讀在屯馬、住在華美」，三年高中課程由屯馬設計、支援，學生每晚的住宿安排則由華美負責。

Yuan Guoming said that the new plan is to "study in Tunma and live in Huamei". Tunma will design and support the three-year high school curriculum, and Huamei will be responsible for students' accommodation every night.

在整個高中課程的前半部分、即中四到中五上學期，學生在華美上面授課，屯馬負責網課；至於中五下學期開始，學生將每日從華美乘搭「點對點校巴」抵達屯馬，課後即日返回深圳。

In the first half of the whole high school curriculum, that is, the last semester from Form 4 to Form 5, students taught in Huamei, and Tunma was responsible for online courses.

內地學習氛圍濃

利學生打根基

The learning atmosphere in the Mainland

is conducive to students' foundation.

袁國明表示，內地學習氛圍濃厚，相信學生中四、中五在華美可以打好學術根基；加上華美有晚間自習的安排，讓學生可以全天候浸淫在學習氣氛中。至於屯馬，對於文憑試操練較有經驗，加上該校學習環境國際化，有助提升學生的英語能力，「內地宿舍9點多就關燈睡覺，這樣『軍訓式學習生活』對於學生的成長、學習來說，是難能可貴的經驗。」

Yuan Guoming said that there is a strong learning atmosphere in the Mainland, and I believe that students in Form 4 and Form 5 can lay a good academic foundation in Huamei.

　　他表示，兩校會同步教授文憑試課程，雙方師生均可透過視像、親身參與對方課堂，加強學與教的成效；未來兩地若可自由通關，華美學生周末及長假期可到屯馬參與統一模擬考試。他特別提到，新計劃下華美的港籍生可以在不同階段插班入讀屯馬，校方亦會特別設立獎學金予面試成功後入讀屯馬的學生。

He said that the two universities will teach diploma courses simultaneously, and teachers and students of both sides can participate in each other's classroom by video and in person to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching.

　　在升學前景方面，袁國明表示，學生可用文憑試成績經大學聯招報讀本港大學及高等院校，亦可報讀海外大學。

Students can apply to local universities and institutions of higher learning through the joint university entrance exam, and can also apply to overseas universities.

　　屯馬亦與內地、台灣及美國的大學簽訂「校長推薦計劃」及「保送計劃」；亦可推薦學生參加明愛專上學院「直通銜接計劃」修讀學位、副學位等課程。

Tunma has also signed "Principal Recommendation Scheme" and "Walk Scheme" with universities in the Mainland, Taiwan Province and the United States.

由於疫情尚未平息，內地與香港仍保持嚴格的入境防控措施。按照新計劃下的安排，首批新課程學生將於2024年才會來港入讀屯馬，袁國明坦言疫情難料，若屆時仍有熔斷機制，學生或未能來港，「不過兩地課程同步教授，在此計劃下的跨境生仍可在華美上課，學習進度將不會受到影響。」至於具體收費仍在研究中。

According to the arrangement under the new scheme, the first batch of new course students will not come to Hong Kong to study in Tunma until 2024.
